Atul Mehta graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in 2003. He worked as a Software Developer with Perot Systems, NOIDA for two years after that and joined the IIM-A in 2005. He loves writing poems, making friends and is an avid chess player. He wants to be remembered as a person who lived his life to the fullest and tried to do something for the society in whatever little way he could.
He started the Obstacle free India movement last year and wants to spread it across the country. His dream is to remove all the physical and, more importantly, the mental barriers that exist for the physically challenged in our country.
